Bangkok Bank likely to lend $1 million to Alliance Tuna of the Philippines
Bangkok Bank's Manila branch is in negotiations to extend a US$1-million (Bt35.2 million) loan to Philippine canned tuna exporter Alliance Tuna International, according to Xinhua Financial News Service. Alliance Tuna is raising $3 million worth of loans overall to fund its working-capital needs. It is negotiating for $2 million from the Philippine Veterans Bank which will be guaranteed by the Philippine Export Import Bank. - The Nation. Navigation: Navteq releases Bangkok digital map Navteq, a global provider of digital map data for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, has announced its expanded coverage in the Asia-Pacific region with its first release in Thailand. The Navteq map of Bangkok covers a population of more than six million and includes over 15,500 kilometres of road network within the capital.
