Harrison has high hopes for upcoming auction of top-floor units in 25 projects

Property agent Harrison will hold an auction for 25 pent-house projects at an event called "Penthouse Panorama Auction" worth Bt1 billion to be held from Thursday to April 2 at its head office.

CEO Alan Lin said the company was adopting a new marketing concept through a virtual tour on its website www.penthouselover.com to help those interested in acquiring penthouses. Visitors can see properties, including design, function and decoration, from 360-degree angles.

The auction will feature 25 new and second-hand penthouse projects, including Baan Sathorn, Chaopraya, Ficus Lane, Athene Resident, The Royal Saladaeng, President Park, Sukhumvit City Resort, Master Centrium, Royal Castle, Waterford, Nusasiri, and The Lake. Prices range from Bt15 million to Bt60 million.

Lin said the penthouse market in Thailand was narrow in scope and there were not a lot of marketing activities to support sales. But the trend for this segment is growing both domestically and internationally.

"If there are adequate marketing activities, high sales can be expected. It is also expected that there will be a lot of bidders who will participate in the auction," he said.

Executive vice president Wandee Cheewakitcharoen said the auction would be conducted by sealed bids and bidders could visit the real locations or take a virtual tour via the website before the auction takes place.

Those interested in participating can request bidding forms from Harrison from Thursday until the April 2 auction date.
