'The Nation' celebrates with 'Thailand's Tomorrow'

A mobile multimedia exhibition entitled "Thailand's Tomorrow", which is a cooperative effort of Nation Multimedia Group (NMG) and 12 top companies, kicks off next Friday in Chiang Mai.
The exhibition offers visitors a journey through Thailand's modern history, the present and the future in a unique presentation focusing on 14 themes that have shaped - and will continue to influence - the course of the Kingdom. These include the themes of the Thai King and Thai Politics. The twelve other themes are sponsored by the 12 companies. Each theme has played a significant role in Thailand's social and economic evolution and is part of several "defining moments" in the history of modern Thailand. The theme of Brain Power is sponsored by Assumption University, Sports by Boonrawd Trading, Automobiles by Toyota Motor Thailand, Food and Farms by Charoen Pokphand Foods, Happiness by Nestle (Thai), Energy by PTT Group, Economy by Kasikornbank, Finance by BankThai, Lifestyles by Saha Group, Urbanisation by Samart Corp, Forces of Social Harmony by Thai Life Insurance and How We Communicate by True Move. The mobile exhibition is part of activities to mark the 36th anniversary of NMG's flagship English-language daily The Nation. The first event will take place at Central Airport Plaza in Chiang Mai from March 2 to 4. Four more will take place in Nakhon Ratchasima, Hat Yai, Pattaya and Bangkok later in the year. The four later exhibitions will be held at The Mall in Nakhon Ratchasima on March 23-25; Lee Garden Plaza in Songkhla's Hat Yai district on May 18-20; Royal Garden Plaza in Pattaya on June 9-11; and CentralWorld in Bangkok by early July. Alongside next week's Chiang Mai exhibition, Nation Group will hold a business seminar on the "Thai Economic Outlook and Stock Market Trends" for local business leaders and investors. Speakers at the Chiang Mai seminar include Kasikornbank executive director Prasarn Trairatwora-kul, Federation of Thai Industries vice president Payungsak Chatsuthiphol, stock-market expert Somjai Phagaphasvivat and economist Anusorn Thammajai.
