Singapore Barbarians, one of the favourites in the event, sailed into the quarter-final of the Cup division.

The tournament also hosted the DHL 3rd Bangkok Lions Mini Rugby Festival, with junior teams from around the region playing over a variety of age groups.

Over 300 Thai juniors from provinces all around the Kingdom displayed their enthusiasm to match the visiting international teams.
