DATAMAT said its consolidated net loss for the first half of last year was Bt121.84 million, compared to a net loss of Bt210.29 million in the same period of 2005.

PRASIT PATANA said it had appointed Siri Ganjarendee as chairman of the executive board, effective from December 27 last year. Siri replaced Wichai Thongtang, who resigned as chairman of the executive board but is still chairman of the company's board of directors.

SIAM COMMERCIAL SAMAGGI INSURANCE reported a 2006 net profit of Bt272.86 million, or Bt3.06 per share. This compares with net earnings of Bt249.99 million, or Bt3.85 per share, the previous year.

THAI REINSURANCE reported a consolidated net profit of Bt462.28 million, or Bt0.39 per share, for 2006. It made Bt481.78 million in net profit (Bt0.41 per share) the previous year.
