Highlights of the week :Transport boss's probe into Suvarnabhumi

Transport Minister Theera Haocharoen today meets the state agencies involved in the Suvarnabhumi Airport faults investigation.

Airports of Thailand director Tortrakul Yomnak reports on his probe. Recommendations to close the airport completely or partially and the status of Bangkok International Airport at Don Muang are expected on Wednesday.

PM on TV to discuss election schedule

Tomorrow sees Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont appear on Modernine Television (Channel 9) in a special programme discussing political reform and the upcoming general election.

Surayud was recently accused by Thai Rak Thai Party's acting leader Chaturon Chaisang of being interested only in destroying those in the previous government.

EC to get to grips with constitution

The Election Commission meets representatives of all 44 political parties on Wednesday at the Prince Palace Hotel.

The commission will canvas party opinions on the new constitution.
