Khan Kluay wins Best Picture award

Khan Kluay won four awards including Best Picture from Subhanahongsa Awards Friday night.
Kantana's animation "Khan Kluay", a story of a wild elephant that later became the war mount of King Naresuan, took the Best Picture from Subhanahongsa Award, a Thai version of Hollywood's Academy.
The animaton, Thailand's first major animated feature film since "Sud Sakorn" in 1976, also collected another three awards including Best Original Screenplay, Best Score, and Best Sound Editing.
Chalerm Wongpim from "Khon Fai Bin (Dynamite Warrior)" collects Best Director Award from his Thai-style action movie.
Krisada Sukosol Clapp, known among music fans as Noi of Pru band, won the Best Actor Award from "13 Game Sayong" ("13 Beloved"). He plays a salesman who's sucked into an insidious, underground reality game show, and must perform increasingly degrading, dangerous and immoral acts in order to win Bt100 million.
Best Actress went to Runglawan Thonahongsa who plays a famous Issan maid character Noo Hin from comic books in "Noo Hin The Movie".
Nirut Sirijanyarawong picked up the supporting actor award from "Pleng Sudthai" ("The Last Song"), while best supporting actress went to Prangthong Chungtham from "Amahit Phitsawas (The Passion)".
