BUMRUNGRAD HOSPITAL said it would waive the rights to subscribe to a maximum 3.71 million shares of 51-per-cent-owned subsidiary Bumrungrad International for Bt153.52 apiece, allocating the rights to Asia Financial Holdings or its wholly owned subsidiary.
COMPASS EAST INDUSTRY (THAILAND) announced the closing last September 1 of wholly owned subsidiary Ballad Enterprise in Brunei. The subsidiary had too few clients and the parent company wanted to save on costs.
RATCHABURI ELECTRICITY GENERATING HOLDING announced a consolidated 2006 net profit of Bt6.11 billion, up slightly from Bt6.07 billion in 2005.
SIAM COMMERCIAL LEASING reported that 352.82 million shares out of 358.3 million available were sold to existing shareholders for Bt10 apiece. The remaining 5.48 million shares will be reallotted under resolution by a new shareholders' meeting.
TPI POLENE announced a consolidated 2006 net profit of Bt2.78 billion, up 82.89 per cent from 1.52 billion in 2005.
