Kingdom top again
Thailand has been named the world's best tourist country by a Norwegian travel magazine for the fourth consecutive year.
At the Norwegian Grand Travel Awards 2007 held in Oslo, Thailand was voted for by more than 300 travel companies. Greece, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Brazil, the US, France, the UK and Sweden followed in the top 10. Travel News has organised the awards for 12 years and gives out 17 awards each year. National carrier Thai Airways was voted best international airline. Thailand is one of the most popular destinations for Scandinavians. Separately, Thailand is also considered one of the top 10 value-for-money destinations, according to the Country Brand Index 2006 published by the Chicago Tribune. The Nation
