Home Product Centre, operator of the HomePro chain, is offering discounts of 10-60 per cent until the end of the month.
Executive manager Nat Charitchana yesterday said special prices were on offer for home-decoration items and construction raw materials for customers at all HomePro outlets. Eco-Minds 2007 Bayer Thai, the United Nations Environment Programme and Mahidol University's Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies invite Thai students with a strong interest in sustainable development to apply for the Eco-Minds 2007 programme. Three people will eventually be selected to participate in the Regional Youth Forum, to be held in Thailand from May 31-June 3. The programme brings together delegates from nine Asia-Pacific countries to gain insights into environmental and resource dynamics and learn and share thinking on sustainability methodology through excursions and lectures by prominent local and international speakers. Applicants should be no older than 24 and must be enrolled at a recognised tertiary institution for study in one of the following fields: natural sciences, engineering and technology, social sciences or commerce/management.
