NCCC declares assets of two ministers in Surayud government

The national anti-graft agency has revealed the assets of two Cabinet ministers appointed in November.

The National Counter Corruption Commission released the asset statements submitted by Deputy Finance Minister Sommai Phasee and Prime Minister's Office Minister Prasith Kowilaikul.

Sommai declared his worth at Bt27 million, while his wife Sophang had Bt39.8 million.

Prasith declared assets of Bt28.8 million, including Bt11.4 million in banks. His wife Sukanya was worth Bt20.2 million.

Political office holders are required to declare assets and liabilities within 30 days of being appointed.
