Chuwit offers Bt1m reward

Chat Thai Party deputy leader Chuwit Kamolvisit yesterday offered a Bt1-million reward for anyone who helps to find those responsible for the series of bomb attacks on New Year's eve.

The massage parlour tycoon turned politician said he offered the reward for anyone who gave clues that led to the arrest of the masterminds.

He set a condition that the money would only be paid if a court had found people guilty of being involved based on evidence revealed by an informant.

"I would pay immediately once the suspects are sentenced by the court for involvement in the bomb attacks. The bombings have badly tarnished the country's reputation. Thailand has been discredited by the incidents," Chuwit said.
