Chuan, Surayud, Prem top PMs poll

Democrat Party chief adviser Chuan Leekpai, Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont and Privy Council President Prem Tinsulanonda have all been voted as prime ministers with the best moral image in a Ramkham-haeng University survey.
Deposed prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra was voted as the most competent and knowledgeable PM, followed by Chuan and Prem. Among politicians, Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva was voted as having the best moral image followed by Chuan and former Thai Rak Thai Party deputy leader Purachai Piumsombun. Abhisit still leads as the politician deemed the most competent and knowledgeable followed by Thaksin and Chuan. Paveena Hongsakul was voted the female politician with the best moral image followed by Thai Rak Thai Party executive member Sudarat Keyuraphan and ex-Senator Rabiabrat Pongpanit. Panya Nirankul was voted as the most moral businessman followed by Tan Passakornnathee and Wikrom Kromdit respectively. Thaksin came in second place for the most competent businessman, while Daruni Kritbunyalai was voted as the most competent businesswoman. The Democrat Party was voted as having the best moral integrity with 48 per cent followed by Chat Thai Party with 28 per cent, Mahachon Party with 19 per cent and the Thai Rak Thai Party with 14 per cent. The survey was conducted on 2,380 respondents from every region in the country from December 25-27.
