Construction :Ch Karnchang signs Bt2.7-bn deal to build National Energy Centre

Ch Karnchang signed a Bt2.7-billion construction agreement with Energy Complex last weekend for that company's National Energy Centre in Bangkok.
Building will begin next year. Payment for the project will be made in instalments next year and the year after, said Karnchang CEO Plew Trivisvavet. The company announced total revenues of Bt16.23 billion and a net profit of Bt1.16 billion for the first nine months this year.
Property :New housing projects from KC KC Property plans to launch five new property projects next year focused on the middle to upper market and worth up to Bt5 billion in total, says president Apisit Ngamachariyakul. He said the new projects would be located on Suwinthawong and Ram-Indra roads. The company expects sales growth of up to 10 per cent next year from the five new projects. KC Property announced total sales of Bt707.43 million and a net profit of Bt99 million for the first nine months.
Energy :Siam Moeco makes oil, gas discovery Siam Moeco, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui Oil Exploration and holder of a 70-per-cent interest in blocks L10/43 and L11/43 onshore in Thailand, has made an oil and natural-gas discovery with its the first exploration well, Arunothai-1, in Block L10/43. Siam Moeco spudded Arunothai-1 at the Arunothai Prospect in July and reached the target depth in late August, after which a series of tubing-stem tests were conducted in two oil zones. There are plans to drill further exploratory wells to assess additional hydrocarbon potential. Siam Moeco plans early production, in order to optimise benefits for all the stakeholders, including the Kingdom itself, the company said in a statement yesterday. Mitsui Oil Exploration is currently active internationally, with key assets in the Gulf of Thailand and a total net daily production of approximately 88,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Return first-class fare for Bangkok to Sydney/Brisbane/Melbourne, returning from Melbourne via Sydney, is Bt117,285. Return first-class airfare for Bangkok-London-Bangkok is Bt172,465. The flight also allows passengers to travel via Hong Kong, as well, and without stopover when direct flights are full. Fares exclude airport taxes, service fees, insurance and fuel surcharges.
