Pro-Thaksin group threatens to protest

One day after the government decided to lift martial law in Bangkok, a pressure group linked to deposed PM Thaksin Shinawatra has threatened to organise a mass protest in the city on December 10.



FM express concerns on smuggling of North Koreans

The Foreign Ministry expressed concern on Wednesday over the increasing number of North Koreans entering Thailand and criticised local and foreign nongovernmental organisations for supporting them.



PM Surayud unafraid of death threats

Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont said he is not worried about a report that southern Thai separatists have offered a seven-digit reward for killing him, saying it would be an honour to die like a soldier.
