Honouring HM the King The Cabinet yesterday agreed to designate His Majesty the King as the "Father of Thai Inventions". The proposal by the Inventors' Association of Thailand had been approved by the National Research Council of Thailand, Chaipattana Foundation, Royal Development Projects Board and the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand. The citation said the title would honour His Majesty, who holds several patents, while inspiring others to follow in his footsteps.
