GETTING PERSONAL WITH KHEMUPSORN'CHERRY' SIRISUKHA
Cherry's got a brand new bag

Star of the just-ended Channel 3 TV drama series "Kaew Ta Pi", Khemupsorn "Cherry" Sirisukha knows how the right choice in clothing can make all the difference - her insight has just paved her way to anew rosy career as a fashion merchandiser.
Khemupsorn, who owns the multi-brand fashion boutique Cloud 9 at Gaysorn Plaza, also recently took a course at the London College of Fashion. We asked her about what's happening. What's your personal style? I like neat but stylish design.
How do you choose jewellery? If I have to choose earrings, I prefer something simple, maybe one diamond rather than delicate details, because I'm a bit careless. So I'll wear expensive jewellery only if I have to attend some event. More often I like antique accessories because they're so distinctive and have unique features. They can be anything, at any price. I used to go to old markets to look around.
Who's the ideal customer for Cloud 9? The shop focuses on teenagers. It provides pretty outfits, casual dresses and some accessories.
What did you study in London? I took a short course on fashion management and merchandising. It was about how to manage inventory. Tell us your strategy in selecting items for your shop. How I choose the products is mainly based on my personal style. It's funny, because sometimes I'll buy things and completely forget that they're supposed to be for my customers. Luckily, the shop's concept is mixed and multi-brand.
You've had such diverse career experiences - acting, modelling, fashion. What's your dream job? Actually, I like to do lots of things. I also like interior design. I used to ask friends to let me design for them. But my dream job is probable to have my own business.
Any advice about winter fashion trends? I don't really know the trends, but when the climate changes, I'll chose a rather darker tone - grey, black, dark green - with oval-shaped collars on blouses, and a tweed pattern.
What's your fashion statement? Fun-loving - what pleases you.
