Late news :Demco to venture on the MAI in December

Demco, an electrical engineering and telecom system provider, plans to offer 50 million initial public offering shares to investors and start trading in the Market for Alternative Investment early next month, managing director Pradej Kitti-itsaranon said on Friday.
The company has appointed Asia Plus Securities as its financial adviser. Demco reported revenue of Bt1.05 billion and net profit of Bt86 million in the first nine months of the year. TNT appointment TNT Express, a provider of express business-to-business delivery services, has appointed Ekkapong Na Ranong as marketing and commercial manager. Ekkapong brings to the company extensive management experience, particularly in the sales and marketing area. Prior to joining TNT, Ekkapong was Thailand country director for EF Education, a leading global company in the education industry. He also worked at Merrill Lynch Phatra Securities as an associate until 1999, and with Mail Boxes Etc (Thailand) as vice president of operations until 1996.
Taking a moral stance The Home Builder Association plans to focus on high standard and fairness policies next year, its president Sakda Tovisudhi said on Friday. Sakda said the policy would be aimed at companies who lack ethics and exploit customers. The association wants to develop a high quality standard in an industry that now has a market value of Bt20 billion a year. It will draft a contract outlining benchmark criteria in home building and communicate these criteria to customers.
