Siam Motor Group goes 'Hip Plus'

The Siam Motor Group has launched a Bt600-million hotel, the Siam@siam Design Hotel and Spa, offering a "Hip Plus" concept to meet the demands of young executive travellers.
Thailand's giant automobile and parts operator expects to earn Bt180 million in its first year of operation. The group invested Bt600 million to build the 203-room hotel, located next to the headquarters of Siam Motor Co on Rama I Road, near Bangkok's Siam Square and Siam Paragon shopping districts. President and CEO Phornpinit Phornprapha said the hotel would offer a unique concept: Hip Plus, which embodies a distinctive quality of city life and the luxurious elements of a boutique hotel. Party House, one of the magnets at the hotel, can accommodate a maximum of 300 seats. Party House will be used for events such as fashion shows, product launches and concerts. The average room rate is Bt5,300 per night, similar to other five-star hotels along Sukhumvit Road. Suchat Sritama The Nation
