UK snooker champion Ding Junhui recovered from a 2-0 deficit to beat Dave Harold 5-3 and book a trip to the Malta Cup for the first time at the qualifies in Prestatyn on the weekend.
Thailand's James Wattana and Issara Kachaiwong were both eliminated. Wattana went down 5-3 to Rod Lawler and his countryman Issara - after squeezing through three rounds - was beaten 5-3 by Bond in the last 64.
