Lemvard clinches the series

[MOTOR RACING] Jack Lemvard clinched the Toyota Soluna Vios One Make Race title after finishing second at the Bira International Circuit in Pattaya yesterday.
Lemvard, who qualified in second position behind Chariya Nuya, earns another 15 points to lead the standings with an aggregate of 70 for the five-leg series. Chariya, on the other hand, managed to hold off Lemvard during the 17-lap race to win. On the final lap, Lemvard was able to overtake Chariya, but the latter managed to catch up on the long Bira straight and edge Lemvard at the finish line. Finishing third was Peet Leabcharoenrungchai, followed by Thomas Raldorf and Sunij Srisaensuchart. Finishing in sixth to 10th places were Martin Stuvik, Simon Yates, Kingsley Wijayasinha, Sutheerapong, Somabutr and Issarapong Nitiphon. Prince Navabhan Yugala, Trai Chimtawan, Paleerat Panboonhom and Alongkorn Yangyuen and Jeef Bukamier crashed out. Meanwhile in the Toyota Yaris One Make Race contested by Class B racers, Manat Kulapalanont won the title after finishing fifth with a total of 60 points. Noppadol Porakobpol finished fourth to secure second position in the final standings. Both Manat and Noppadol qualify for the Toyota Vitz One Make Race in Japan, which is part of the Toyota Motor Sport Festival, to be held later this month at the Fuji Speedway.
