Somchai quits TRT
Former deputy Thai Rak Thai Party leader Somchai Sunthornwat yesterday said he had already resigned from the party membership and would join with Wang Nam Yom faction leader Somsak Thepsuthin.
He said he had talked with Somsak and other faction leaders about Wang Nam Yom's political future. Meanwhile, he said he would wait for Somkid Jatusripitak to agree to lead a new party. Otherwise, he said, he might end his political career. Chon Buri faction leader Sonthaya Kunplome said he was still undecided over whether to join Somsak or the Chat Thai Party.
