Vuitton's flagship gets a facelift

After bagging new, larger premises, the first Louis Vuitton store in Thailand has finally reopened its doors at the riverside Oriental Hotel.
Loyal fashionistas might still remember luxury label's first store in Bangkok, a tiny space opened in 1985 in the hotel's Author's Wing. Twenty-one years later, the store has relocated to The Oriental Arcade, benefiting from an airier more modern look lent by the brand's Malletier architecture team, responsible for the design of Louis Vuitton stores worldwide. The two other Louis Vuitton stores in Bangkok are at The Emporium and Gaysorn Plaza.
