Lexus and Boathouse hold fair

A luxury residential development in Phetchaburi's Cha-am district, the Boathouse Hua Hin, is joining forces with the Lexus luxury car to present a new style of below-the-line marketing this weekend.
The two organisations will hold a Family Fun Fair at the Boathouse Hua Hin, hoping to use the current school vacation to attract buyers. Managing director Praphaisith Tankeyura said the recent period of political uncertainty had made potential buyers delay decisions on spending. Now that it is over, there is a need to stimulate demand. "We've had a fairly satisfactory increase in sales," he said. "This year, we're offering 94 units in Building C and expect to close sales shortly. Furthermore, we expect to sell our condo and housing units at Lagoons 1 and 3, with total sales of about Bt1.2 billion." Since the residential development has the same target group as Lexus Sukhumvit - high-income earners with style who are looking for the best things in life - the two companies will employ a hybrid marketing tactic learned by the Boathouse Hua Hin after a road show at the Pacific Conference Centre in Hong Kong. It coincides with the school break and is aimed at attract families. Events at the fair include test-driving the Lexus GS300, RX350 and IS250 sports sedan for adults and games and train rides for children, as well as massage and painting. Lexus Sukhumvit is offering special packages for car buyers at the fair, with no down-payment and five-year instalment plans. For those who make a 30-per-cent down payment for an IS250, payments will be spread over four years with an annual interest rate of 2.85 per cent. Praphaisith said that at the same time the Boathouse Hua Hin would be offering special prices for villas, from Bt52,000 per square metre for fully decorated condo units along with a tour package. The Boathouse Hua Hin is a prestigious development consisting of luxury villas and condominiums that are built around a free-form swimming pool that is 12 times Olympic size. It is located on 11.52 hectares of land in Cha-am district, just north of Hua Hin.
