Bt100 million spent on 10-day event

Home Product Centre is spending Bt100 million on the HomePro Expo 4 at Impact Muang Thong Thani, which takes place on October 20-29.

The company expects sales of up to Bt380 million from the 10-day event, deputy managing director Nat Charitchana said yesterday.

He said the company would offer customers special discounts of up to 50 per cent. - The Nation.

Aviation :Thai AirAsia offers 'Low Fare Alert'

Thai AirAsia is offering a special year-end promotion - "Low Fare Alert" - with domestic fares starting from Bt355 and international tickets from Bt755 (taxes and surcharges not included).

The booking period runs until October 29, and the travel period is between November 1 and December 31. Reservations can be made only via www.airasia.com and there are 30,000 seats available.

The promotion is aimed to boost Thai AirAsia passenger numbers to three million this year.

Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani and Surat Thani prices start from Bt355, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Phuket and Krabi start from Bt655, and Chiang Mai and Narathiwat start from Bt855.

Penang, Phnom Penh, Rangoon, Kota Kinabalu and Singapore start from Bt755, and Macau and Hanoi start from Bt1,155.

For those who wish to witness the beauty of the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006 in Chiang Mai between November 1 and January 31, a three-day two-night Thai AirAsia package tour is available, with prices starting from Bt4,300.

This includes a round-trip Bangkok-Chiang Mai air ticket, two nights' accommodation inclusive of breakfast, a round-trip airport-hotel transfer, and admission to the Expo. - The Nation.
