Sonthi made new Isoc boss

The Council for National Security (CNS) has appointed Army commander-in-chief General Sonthi Boonyaratglin as director of Internal Security Operations Command (Isoc).

Defence Minister General Boonrawd Somtas made the announcement after attending a meeting hosted by the CNS.

The position of Isoc director became vacant after former premier Thaksin Shinawatra - who also held that role - was ousted by the Army on September 19.
