In Brief :Siam Cement tops 'Asia 200' survey
Siam Cement has been voted the most admired company in Thailand in the latest "Asia 200" survey by the Wall Street Journal Asia.
The company beat Charoen Pokphand Foods, Siam Commercial Bank, Kasikornbank and Land & House for the title. The survey of business readers in Asia has been conducted annually since 1993.
Vietnam offer Air France yesterday announced a "Duo Campaign", whereby passengers can travel by business class from Thailand to Vietnam with a companion at an attractive price. Passengers can choose to fly to Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi for Bt20,000, which is the special price for two people travelling together. The offer, which is exclusive of airport taxes, insurance and fuel surcharges, is valid for travel until December 15. Air France offers flights between Bangkok and Hanoi every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and between Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
