In Brief :Product launch to spur Steel Intertech growth

Steel Intertech will launch its newest product - C&Z Purlins - in the middle of next month, in a bid to boost its sales growth to 10 per cent this year.
Purlins are beams used in constructing roofs. Managing director Prasit Ounvorawong said the product launch was delayed from the third quarter of the year, because it had taken time for the company's new plant to settle in. Steel Intertech reported sales of Bt327.61 million with a net profit of Bt16.89 million last year. In the first half of this year, sales reached Bt176.3 million, with a net profit of Bt14.10 million.
Brisk condo sales from Major Development Major Development Plc sold more than 100 units from its latest three condominium projects - Aguston Sukhumvit 22, Wind Sukhumvit 23 and the Wind Ratchayothin - during a promotional display at The Emporium Living Gallery from September 23 to October 6. CEO Suriyon Poolvoralaks said demand was still growing for high-quality condominiums, especially those located near mass-transit systems. He said the company expected to meet its sales target this year, with growth of 10 per cent.
