Impending flood disasters for provinces around Bangkok

The Royal Irrigation Department Saturday issued its first warning for Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, and areas outside the flood barriers of Bangkok to strengthen and heighten their flood barriers and prepare for possible evacuation if they fail.



Thai AirAsia flight to Narathiwat forced to u-turn

After leaving Suvarnabhumi Airport Saturday morning, a Thai AirAsia plane had to abort its flight to Narathiwat, officially due to technical reasons, but passengers said the U-turn was more about part of its wing falling off.



Interim Govt to go ahead with 'Blue Line'

MR Pridiyathorn Devakula, who is to be named deputy premier and finance minister in the Surayud government, said Saturday that the interim administration would probably implement only one of the 10 proposed rail mass-transit lines during its one-year tenure.
