Big C unveils cool-season garments in its growing line of house brands

In response to what it claims is strong consumer demand, Big C Supercentre is launching an "Only @ Big C" winter collection of high-quality, affordable house-brand garments.
Director for marketing and public relations Pariyanuch Na Takuatung said house-brand products represented an increasing share of the market, especially in the clothing segment. The company's research confirms that customers are familiar and comfortable with "Only @ Big C" products, which come in six labels. Those are Modabimbi, for infants and toddlers; Emily, for girls; Dondolio, for boys; C-Zone women's casual and trendy wear; FFWD men's casual wear; and The Cove denim wear for men, women and children. Pariyanuch said that since last year's Big C summer collection, total sales of the six brands have grown 25 per cent. The products have been especially popular with teenagers, and the company is targeting a 20-per-cent increase in sales from this new winter collection. The new collection focuses on clothing suitable for family outings, parties and travelling to cooler parts of the country. It offers choices for a variety of occasions, able to be combined or coordinated and in a range of colours. "Big C has a dedicated team working continuously on high-quality, attractive designs to expand our range," said Pariyanuch. To reinforce the image of "Only @ Bic C" products, a fashion show has been organised in which AF3 stars Tui, Boy, Mint and Sara will show off garments from the winter collection.
