New judicial approval
Charun Pakdithanakul has been approved as the new Justice Ministry's permanent secre-
tary.
Charun, currently the secretary-general to the Supreme Court president, will replace the incumbent Justice per-manent-secretary Jarupong Ruangsuwan who will retire at the end of the month, Supreme Court President Charnchai Likit-jittha said yesterday. Charun said he would not be able to start in the new position until the appointment is confirmed by the interim prime minister. The appointment is ex-pected to be announced on October 2. Besides Charun, the committee also approved the transfer of 17 other justice officers. The order would come into affect on October 1.
