ERASING THAKSIN
PM's image removed from mailbox

A man erases name of Thaksin from a mail box
The Council for Democratic Reform (CDR) is expected to erase the name of ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra from Thai politics - even from his mailbox at his official residence at Baan Phitsanulok.

Since the coup, government officials and police officers seen as close to Thaksin have been moved. The CDR has also removed Thaksin's picture and profile from the government's meeting room.

Yesterday, Government House officials erased Thaksin's name from a mailbox to which the premier had invited nonThai Rak Thai Party members to send complaints.
