Health & beauty show already 90% booked

More than 90 per cent of the exhibition area has already been booked for the Thailand Health and Beauty Show 2006 scheduled for November.
Chantra Purnariksha, director-general of the Export Promotion Department, said yesterday that 710 booths out of the 780 available at Impact Muang Thong Thani had been reserved by enthusiastic exhibitors who look forward to the show, which runs from November 8-12. The remaining booths should be taken very soon. The event promises to offer a one-stop shopping experience for those in the health and beauty industry here and beyond. Visitors will experience the most exciting, most comprehensive range of health and beauty products and services that Thailand has to offer, she said. According to the event organiser, visitors will meet healthcare and beauty service operators from leading hospitals, specialised clinics, Thai traditional medical service providers, herbal massage practitioners and spa centres. The event will also present healthcare and beauty products such as healthy food and beverages, spa products, cosmetics, skincare and hair-care products. Chantra said the event was ideal for existing and new health and beauty entrepreneurs seeking new ideas to extend business capabilities and increase competitiveness. It will also be a great platform to meet and greet with industry professionals and establish a network of business partners for the future. The last two days will be open for the general public, so this is a good chance for consumers to buy quality health and beauty products and services at special retail prices. This year's rendition expects to welcome 23,000 international visitors, Chantra added.
