As this will be the base for calculating a new power rate structure, an adviser is necessary to review the reference ratios which have been used, board member Vichit Lorjeerachunkul said yesterday. The board was told the Energy Policy and Planning Office could this month approve a Bt103-million budget to hire an adviser for the next independent power producer bidding. The terms of reference for the bidding could then be available next March.
