Ultimatum to police

Suriyasai Katasila and 20 other leaders of the People's Alliance for Democracy yesterday threatened to stage a big protest if police did not pursue the investigation into the recent attacks on citizens protesting against caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

Suriyasai said the group would give the police seven days to finish investigating the attacks on anti-Thaksin protesters at the Siam Paragon mall on August 19 and the Central World mall on August 21.
