My Linker keeps users informed on websites

Internet users who want to receive information from their favourite website at any time will be pleased to hear about myLinker.

Apaporn Wakabayashi, managing director of Thai System Integration, said myLinker is a set of communication tools which allows website owners or business to send real time information, advertising, promotion campaigns and information on new services to subscribers who have installed the myLinker program.

"The system sends real-time information to members who makes a request. It is not adware or spam mail," said Apaporn. She said the service would be useful for website owners or business whose subscribers have no time to access a particular site, so when the site is updated, the system automatically delivers information to subscribers.

The myLinker system provides information to subscribers in three formats - pop-ups, alert messages and flash. The firm expects that it will have more than 500,000 subscribers by the end of this year. The system was developed by Shotech, based in South Korea. It has more than 17 million subscribers in that country.
