Sondhi sued for defamation
A lawyer representing caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said yesterday the Criminal Court has agreed to hear allegations of defamation against outspoken media activist Sondhi Limthongkul.
Lawyer Chatree Tarippassaro said outside the court the allegations claimed Sondhi repeatedly accused Thaksin of using and believing in "black magic".Chatree said further litigation against Sondhi would follow. The court set October 2 for the first hearing.
