Reshuffle approved
The Cabinet yesterday approved a reshuffle of 48 senior civil servants.
The appointments included Cabinet secretary-general Rongphol Charoenphanthu and the Prime Minister's Office Ministry permanent secretary Peeraphan Prempooti.The list of 48 involved officials at C-10 and C-11 levels only. It received Royal sanction last Thursday. Another list of 36 transfers awaits Royal approval. Once that has been given, it will be endorsed by the new Election Commission. A total of 87 officials have been reshuffled or appointed since the Thaksin Shinawatra government dissolved the House on March 2. Three have had terms extended.
