Extra time
The Constitution Court yesterday allowed the Pattana Chart Thai Party 30 more days to present its defence in an electoral-fraud case filed by the Election Commission, the court's secretary-general Phaiboon Warahapaitoon said.
The four other political parties involved in the case, who face dissolution if found guilty, have been allowed between 15 and 30 days to submit further arguments in their defence. They are Thai Rak Thai, Democrat, Thai Ground and Progressive Democratic.
