IN BRIEF
No evidence of Prem phone tap

TOT Plc acting president Chamras Tantreesukhon yesterday said the company had not found any evidence of a tap on the home telephones of Privy Council president General Prem Tinsulanonda.
He ordered an engineer to investigate the claim but nothing was found to indicate Prem's calls were being intercepted. Chamras was responding to a comment made on Sunday by Demo-crat Party executive member Pichet Panvichartkul, who said phones at the former prime minister's home had been bugged. - The Nation.
