Fresh ideas from the Land of Oz

If you can't get enough of the clothes from Billabong, Roxy and Seafolly, Bangkok's Playground store will be carrying three new high-end Australian brands starting next month.
Although Roxy is great for holidays and chilling out, the new brands add the option of taking sophistication up a notch. Young Australian designers Bettina Liano, Camilla & Marc and Josh Goot offer outfits that exude uniqueness. Their spring-summer collections were a hit at Australian Fashion Week. Bettina Liano - known as "Queen Jean" - accentuates the female form with coordinated dresses, skirts, tailored suits and tees made from intricate silks, jerseys, cottons and knits. Her jeans have a rock 'n' roll appeal, which make them popular among celebs like Paris Hilton and Liz Hurley. Founded in 2003, Camilla & Marc is a brother and sister team, whose specialities are elegant, free-flowing dresses and feminine jackets. Camilla & Marc is for confident women who don't need overly stylish clothes. Josh Goot is known for his quirky creations and fresh approach to both men and women's fashion. His "future-smart" ideology is reflected in his use of clean, spacey colours and new fabrics. His range is known for "tailored comfort", with trench coats and blazers among his main items.
