Health group calls for control on TV ads of junk foods

TV commercials for junk foods and snacks must be controlled in order to prevent children from becoming obese and prone to sickness because of unhealthy eating habits, health groups urged on Tuesday.



Convicted EC should reimburse cost of poll: Democrat

The jailed Election Commissioners should reimburse Bt2 billion to the state - the cost of organising the last national poll, following their conviction on Tuesday for mismanaging the April election, a Democrat executive said on Tuesday.



Senate needs a month to select new EC

The Senate will spend at least 30 days to select the election commissioners after receiving the nominations from the Supreme Court, Senate Speaker Suchon Chaleekrua said on Tuesday.
