Sondhi, senators set to answer premier's remarks with dereliction-of-duty suit People's Alliance for Democracy leader Sondhi Limthongkul and a group of caretaker senators are expected to file a police complaint today against Caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. The complaint is in connection with Thaksin's claim a "charismatic" figure is attempting "unconstitutional" means to bring him down. Sondhi and the senators are likely to accuse the premier of dereliction of duty by failing to take legal action against the person in question. Last week Thaksin made the allegation before a gathering of top bureaucrats at Government House. His claim led to calls for him to clarify himself and identify the figure in question.
