Dhanin and Charoen address Chinese forum

Dhanin Chearavanont and Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi were the only two Thai businessmen invited to share their views at the recent Fourth Overseas Chinese Forum Worldwide in Beijing.
Hosted by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the forum invited over 200 overseas businessmen around the world to reveal their success stories to businessmen in China. At the forum, Dhanin, chief of agricultural conglomerate Charoen Pokphand Group, told the audience that the group's success lay in a three-pronged scheme whereby benefits must be contributed to the country the group invests in, the country's citizens and in the group itself. He also advised the audience that before throwing money into any country, it was necessary that they thoroughly study its traditions and culture. Most importantly, they need to be concerned about social responsibility. - The Nation.
