Rally to wait for court case

A People's Alliance for Democracy leader, Somsak Kosaisuk, said yesterday that the PAD would not hold a rally at this time because they are waiting for the courts to accept their petition.

The PAD and a group of senators have initiated litigation proceedings seeking criminal culpability for the April 2 election. Somsak said he was confident the court would accept the case.

"We will postpone our moves while the court is considering the charge," he said.

However, he said the PAD would hold a meeting on June 24 to schedule a further rally in July.
