LATE NEWS
NGV budget

The National Energy Policy Committee yesterday approved the Bt25-million budget for promoting use of natural gas for vehicles (NGV), said caretaker Energy Minister Viset Choopiban.

Viset said the ministry planned to increase the marketing fee on the sale of NGV to Bt2 per kg, from the present Bt1.40-Bt1.70, to promote more NGV consumption. This move, he feels, will win the cooperation of gas station owners.

"We are also getting PTT Plc to increase the number of NGV stations from 160 at present to 200 before the end of the year," he said.

Bt2,549 promo

Preuksa Real Estate Plc has launched the "Bt2,549 campaign", which allows down-payment options as low as Bt2,549 to customers who buy homes in its Ban Preuksa and Preuksa Ville projects.

CEO and managing director Thongma Vijitpongpun said the campaign aimed to ease the  burden on home-seekers looking to settle in one of its seven new residential projects throughout Bangkok.

Two projects - Ban Preuksa and Preuksa Ville - have houses from Bt600,000 to Bt1.4 million. The campaign runs till the end of the month.
