In her 48kg bout yesterday, Prakaidao defeated Madagasear Ravelosata of Madagascar on points, winning the first gold for the Thai squad, but her team-mate Nutrujar Pradubmook failed to take the lightweight crown when she was beaten by Sandra Castian of Canada and had to settle for the silver medal. All six of the Thai men's victories guaranteed them at least silver medals. Today is the final round of the men's class A event and the closing ceremony will be held at 8pm.
