Thais into final stages

[BOXING] Three Thai boxers made it through to the semi-finals of the World Amateur Muaythai Championships yesterday at the Mall Bangkapi's MCC Hall.
Flyweight Damrong Seekhao defeated Trishin Konstantin of Ukraine on points and will face Denis Logunov of Russia in today's semi-final. Supachai Payunhan was the second Thai to make it through when he defeated Hassan Momeni in their bantamweight bout. Supachai today takes on Almus Sa Kayev of Kazakhstan. Lightweight Panupan Tanjad was the last local fighter to go through yesterday after defeating Neurtay Yesbolsynov of Kazakh-stan on points. Today he meets Belarus' Kulebin Andrei. In the women's event, Thailand's 51kg Sararat Kongsa-wang is guaranteed at least a silver medal after she defeated So Ming-wai of Hong Kong in their semi-final. She will take on Petra Janssen van Doom of the Netherlands today in the women's final. Lightweight Nutrujar Pradub-mook is another Thai woman boxer who has a chance to win the gold medal after she finished off Janna Vaughan of New Zealand in their semi-final yesterday.
