Four Thai boxers stormed into the quarter-finals of the World Amateur Muaythai Championships yesterday at the Mall Bang Kapi's MCC Hall.
Featherweight Satit Kaowprapai beat Baskakov Maksym of the Ukraine 3-2, and super lightweight Vuttirong Pramaree defeated France's Zatout Mchdi by the same score. In the women's competition, Prakaydaw Pakmalee defeated Amy Davis of the United States in the 48-kg class, while Nutrujar Pradubmook outclassed Laha Zaharja Minodora of Romania in the 60-kg division.
