Portuguese carrier and THAI to code share

TAP Portugal and Thai Airways International, both members of Star Alliance, yesterday signed a cooperative code-sharing agreement on selected flights between Portugal and Thailand.
Through this code sharing, which takes effect on June 15, both THAI and TAP will market each other's flights between Lisbon and Bangkok via certain European points. As a result TAP hopes to snatch a share of the Asian travel market, thus pursuing its strategy of increasing its customers' travel options.
Aisawan Resort plans giant marketing splash Aisawan Resort & Spa (Pattaya) will spend Bt200 million to market its new location. The company will offer special packages to tourists visiting the hotel and using the spa service, general manager Soporn Wongchatchainont said. The first campaign will coincide with the "Amazing Thailand Grand Sale Fair 2006", which runs until June 4.
Blue Canyon Country Club out of bankruptcy The Central Bankruptcy Court has formally released Murex Co Ltd, the Blue Canyon Country Club's holding company, from its debt restructuring responsibilities. Sia Leng Yuen, Blue Canyon's chairman and one of its owners, said this was a piece of great news for the company. It will now look forward to the future, focusing on continuing to running its golf club, which is spread over 1,800 rai in Phuket.
